Rodents 4, BaaBaaDoo 0
Darn these rodents!
Smelled another skunk this weekend and had to reset the trap. Went out and found a terrified baby bunny in it. Let it go, it ran across the street. Squirrels are still stealing my tomatoes, defeating my clever devices consisting of hardware cloth and duct tape. To top it all off, mice in the pantry, one of which decided to climb behind the wall and die, to stink up my kitchen. Randy the Exterminator did his best but all we could do was set some bait.
Oh and then there's this.
But I suppose technically that's a marsupial trying to steal my car.

Shiny New Roof and Goats on the Hoof!

Fences repaired and a shiny new roof thanks to the winter storm! Now the goats are back home and enjoying the downed mulberry tree and other new backyard attractions.
No babies again this year, we need to find a good buck somewhere. Hoping to win one in the MSFGA Lottery thanks to Renee! Fingers crossed.

Aftermath
Well, the winter storms seemed to have passed, just flooding rains here now.
Roof damage, fence damage, the lovely old mulberry in the video of the last post is down and will probably have to go. It's been a rough winter. Friends have lost livestock due to drifts being too high to get feed to them, or to get sick ones medical attention, or from fences being crushed by snow.
I finally seem to be recovering from my lung cancer surgery in Nov. It's slow and frustrating. My hired help left the area and there's a harsh winter's worth of mess around the property that needs dealing with.
Faith and Courage are still at Siloview Farm. I can't bring them home till the fence is fixed.
