On vacation

Faith and Courage are at Siloview Farm for a few weeks before and after my surgery. Neal sketched them just before we brought them over to Becky's. He really captured them.

Autumn News

Well, Faith turned out NOT to be pregnant. She was however getting a lot bigger because she was not refusing all the extra special nutritious feed and treats I was giving her. Silly goat! So Courage and Faith are enjoying munching on the fallen leaves and wild persimmons in the yard, and happily lounging in the sun.

The Happy News

I feel it safe to say Faith is definitely pregnant. She should kid around the beginning of August. It would be fun if it falls on my birthday. She has had as many as four and as few as one at a time. I hope we get two lovely little girls. Keep your fingers crossed!

More Babies!

Herd Sires and Does

Here is our registered Mini Silky Foundation Doe, CornerStone's Faith:

Sol-Orr's Gangster has sired all of our prizewinning kids, and most of our offspring. He's a registered Mini Silky herdsire and champion in his own right.

We have had some lovely babies out of Gizmo as well.

BaaBaaDoo's Lord Justice

We are very proud of our parents and babies! Here is the prizewinning BaaBaaDoo's Lord Justice:

Lord Justice winning Junior Buck Reserve Champion and Reserve Grand Champion Buck at the Goats Music and More show in Lewisburg TN.

Our Goats and Our Farm

BaaBaaDoo Farm is a boutique breeder of Registered Miniature Silky Long-Haired Fainting Goats. We are located in the heart of Virginia's historic Hunt Country. Since we concentrate on raising a small quantity of highest quality babies each year, our kids are usually reserved or sold before we can even post about them on the internet. Therefore, we have decided to drop our dedicated website and just update everyone via this blog. We hope you enjoy reading about their adventures as much as we do writing about them!
